To evaluate your courses, instructors, or teaching assistants log into the CIS system by following this link https://utdirect.utexas.edu/ctl/ecis/, and entering your EID and password
Once you log in, you will be presented with a list of your assigned eCIS and instructions. After selecting an instructor to evaluate, you will be asked to confirm who you are evaluating prior to being presented with the survey questions. You will have an opportunity to review your responses before submitting each survey.
Students with assigned eCIS will receive an initial email notification and up to three subsequent notifications should they have remaining eCIS to complete.
The eCIS system *email notification schedule is as follows:
- the first day of the survey administration period
- the fourth day of the survey administration period
- two days prior to the close of survey administration
- the final day that eCIS can be completed
*The email notifications, which include the link to the eCIS access site, are sent to whichever email account the student designated as his/her preferred primary account, and often this is a non-UT specific email (e.g. Gmail). Please be sure you check your “junk mail” as the automated notification may have been filtered.
Your participation is anonymous; as a result, we are unable to make any changes to your responses. Therefore, just as one would do when taking an exam, please be mindful of the response scale when marking your response!
