AP Exam in U.S. Government and Politics, with UT Austin Test on Texas Government

This exam requires that the Texas Government Only Test be taken on the UT Austin campus before credit eligibility can be determined.  To register, see Texas Government Only on the test registration page.

The College Board Advanced Placement (AP) exams are offered once a year in May, usually in high schools that offer AP courses. These tests are not administered on the UT Austin campus. For more information, or to register, visit the College Board AP website.

UT Austin Courses Score Range Notes
GOV 310L * Eligibility for credit is based on AP scores combined with the UT Austin Test on Texas Government. Only students with a score of at least 3 on the AP exam are eligible to take the Texas Government supplement, but a score of at least 3 does not guarantee credit in GOV 310L.
