Campus Testing Center

Starting Fall semester 2021 Testing & Evaluation Services is collaborating with Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) to pilot a centralized Campus Testing Center (CTC) for in-person accommodated tests.

Students registered with SSD who receive accommodations for testing must still request Accommodation Letters from SSD and discuss arrangements for testing accommodations with their instructors. Instructors can choose to provide testing accommodations themselves, use departmental testing space (if applicable) or reserve tests with the Campus Testing Center (SZB 5.102). [Students who require adaptive equipment to take their tests will be testing in the Assistive Technology Education Center in the SSD office (SSB 4.206) but they will follow the same process for reserving the test space.]

Students and Instructors will begin to use RegisterBlast, a new reservation system, to book accommodated tests in the CTC. More information on how to use RegisterBlast will be available in January. RegisterBlast will be replacing The SSD Testing Module and confirmation system used in previous semesters.

Please be aware the reservation system will change the test request process to be instructor initiated, rather than the previous student-initiated processInstructors will first need to schedule tests through RegisterBlast at least 5-business days prior to the test date. Students will then need to reserve their seats in the CTC a minimum of 3-business days prior to their scheduled test. There will be no instructor confirmation required for exams since instructors will be entering the approved test day/time during the initial scheduling process.
