The Praxis I is a series of standardized tests used by colleges and universities as part of their admission process for teacher education programs, as well as by a number of states for their teacher licensing process. It is comprised of three tests (reading, mathematics, and writing) that measure a person’s preparedness for a career in education.
This test is offered on the UT Austin campus. For general information about the Praxis I Series and to register, visit the ETS website here. For information about on-campus administrations, you can contact (512) 232-2643.
